Please take part in CMS survey
The Council for Medical Schemes (CMS) aims to regulate the medical schemes industry in South Africa in a fair and transparent manner. Part of the CMS’ responsibility is to protect the public and inform them about their rights, obligations and other matters in respect of medical schemes.
The CMS, in collaboration with a team of researchers, is undertaking a survey to assess members’ willingness and ability to pay for primary health care services. Primary care refers to the day to day services that are provided by general practitioners (GPs), nurses or other allied health professionals. Under the current medical schemes regulations, the primary care services are limited and usually paid from a medical savings account.
If you are the principal member of the Nedgroup Medical Aid Scheme, please anonymously share your views on paying for primary healthcare by taking part in the survey.
You can access the survey here.
